內(nèi)森·凱恩（杰克·奎德 Jack Quaid 飾）過著普通的生活，而在平常的外表之下，他有著不尋常的病癥——感受不到疼痛。從身上拔下一顆子彈頭、被人拳打腳踢、把手放進(jìn)滾燙的水中、徒手接刺刀……這些致命傷對(duì)凱恩來說都不痛不癢，而意外失去女友（安伯·明迪桑德 Amber Midthunder 飾）讓他徹底心痛，心中的怒火讓他決定復(fù)仇，利用沒有疼痛的“超能力”與對(duì)手抗衡。
